Hello loyal readers. This week sees the debut of my Character Spotlights. I wanted to write these to showcase various characters, but not just in the typical bio fashion. They are simple introductions to characters such as who they are, some things they've done, and some of their appearances. I have been reading comics for years, so I have developed a love for so many characters and have disliked some others. These spotlights won't always be on my favorite characters though. For the debut spotlight, I chose one of my favorite characters, Carnage. Enjoy.

Hello loyal readers. This has been a pretty slow week. I have slowly been catching up on reading, but I get so backed up that it seems as if those stacks aren't decreasing at all. But it's always good to know that I will never be short of reading material. I hope everyone out there is reading some good books. I have received word that I may be able to attend SDCC 2011 in July. For those of you that don't know, that it San Diego Comic-Con and it is the biggest comic convention in the U.S. This will be my first time in attendance there. Hello loyal readers. Last weekend was a great one for fans of comics and for anyone interested. We saw the release of the highly anticipated Thor movie and the annual celebratory event known as Free Comic Book Day. Neither of those disappointed.
