So this week, I'll be recommending a book that I should read this time, and not you! The recommended book to read is Life of Pi, by Canadian author Yann Martel. I've heard quite mixed reviews about the book, and so I'm eager to read it for myself, even though it's been more than 10 years since its publication. The movie adaptation came out last year, which I'm yet to watch as well. So if you haven't read the book yet, feel free to pick it up at your local library or bookstore and join me. Happy readings!

Get on the phone this week. Call that relative, friend, loved one, that you haven't heard from or spoken to in a little while. Don't text or email. Call. A few minutes (or an hour's length) of phone conversation wont hurt any. So make time this week and say hi to that person, 'coz life's too short to waste time on grudges or pride, or whatever else that has prevented you from reaching out and communicating more. So do it. This week.
